CertificateEMKO-Nordic Certification Service The Nordic Certification Service is a long standing agreement between the EMKO bodies (Demko,Fimko,Nemko,Semko) as national certification bodies in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. It implies that the four marks (D)(FI)(N)(S) may be obtained by one single application and submittal. Due to the well known tradition for safety awareness in the Nordic countries, these marks on a product carries a strong message of safety. (For further information, see EMKO Fact Sheet). ¡¡
CENELEC Certification Agreement (CCA) This is a long standing agreement between the European certification bodies for electrical products to avoid need for re-testing when applying for national certification in the different member countries. It covers the full scope of low voltage electrical equipment, typically household appliances, electronic appliances, luminaires and installation material. (For further information, see CCA Fact Sheet).
CE-mark This is a common European third party certification mark granted to certain electrical equipment complying with the European safety standards as defined in the agreement. It presently covers luminaires and associated components, transformers, power supply units, switches for appliances, IT equipment, automatic electrical controls and, more recently, connecting devices, suppression capacitors and filters. (For further information, see ENEC Fact Sheet). CE-EMC-mark This is a European common certification mark for EMC, to show specifically that the product complies with European EMC standards for electromagnetic emission and immunity. It is owned and operated by the CCA (ref. above) and is applicable to any electrical product. (See CCA-EMC Fact Sheet for further information)
